6/11/24 - Franklin High School student arrested after bringing loaded gun to class - A Baltimore County student could face discipline for bringing a loaded gun to school Monday.
6/11/24 - 15-year-old charged after threat at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda - BETHESDA, Md. (7News) — A 15-year-old Montgomery County Public Schools student was charged after a bomb threat was made at Walt Whitman High School on Friday, June 7.
5/13/24 - B-CC High student allegedly brought gun to school, later fled building - A Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School student allegedly brought a gun onto campus Monday and then fled the building after being seen with it, according to a letter sent to the B-CC community from Principal Shelton Mooney.
4/30/24 - Bodycam shows Maryland students running from a shooting on 'senior skip day' - Police bodycam video captured the moment a shooting incident occurred at Bladensburg High School in Greenbelt, Md., during "senior skip day." Five students were injured, with at least one in critical condition. Two teens were arrested in connection with the shooting.

12/26/23 - Student charged with bringing loaded gun to Flowers High School appears in Prince George's County court - The hearing presented new information about how the student was caught, and how his entrance past school metal detectors was similar to that of another arrested student at a different county school days later.
12/24/23 - Loaded Gun Recovered from Student at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School - UPPER MARLBORO, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) is currently investigating an incident where a 17-year-old male student brought a loaded gun onto the campus of Dr. Henry A. 10/25/23 - 12-year-old identified as culprit in seven bomb threats to Montgomery County Public Schools - BALTIMORE - A 12-year-old was identified after seven recent bomb threats targeted schools in Montgomery County, according to Police Chief Marcus Jones.

9/15/23 - 17-year-old Flowers High student charged with killing 16-year-old near DuVal High - Jayda Medrano-Moore died after someone opened fire after class at DuVal High School in Lanham, Maryland
9/3/23 - Football game ends in brawl between Montgomery County high schools - A football rivalry between two Montgomery County high schools ended in a brawl Friday night. Principals from both schools now work to identify the students involved–and they promise disciplinary action.

12/3/22 - Hate Graffiti, Shooting Threat Sprawled in Kennedy High School Bathroom - Graffiti found in a John F. Kennedy High School bathroom Nov. 30 included a misspelled threat that someone “would shoot up the school Decemer 1.” The hate message that was written numerous times also included a laughing emoji.
